Our Dental Team

Frank A. Madalone, DMD

Dr. Madalone was fascinated with dentistry from his first visit to a dental office. At age 5, he began stating he wanted to be a dentist. This fascination grew into a genuine interest in high school. As a senior, he volunteered as an assistant at the Staten Island Hospital Dental Clinic. This experience confirmed his feelings. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Fairfield University in 1988 and a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in 1992. Following dental school, he completed a general practice residency at Westchester Medical Center and, in 1993, he set out into private practice. His practice experience included associateships in two private practices while maintaining a position treating children at a Westchester County Department of Health Clinic. In 1998, he started his own practice in Mamaroneck. In 2001, he purchased his current practice with which he merged his existing practice.

Continuing education is very important to Dr. Madalone. He takes many courses focusing on the newest dental treatments. These include Implants, esthetic dentistry, and the diagnosis & treatment of temporal  mandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. In 2008, Dr. Madalone became certified in and began practicing laser-assisted dentistry with the use of the Waterlase hard and soft tissue laser. The laser can be utilized in the treatment of periodontal disease and aesthetic gingival recontouring as well as the preparation of cavities. Many of these procedures can be performed without the patient being numb. He is an active member in the ADA, 9th District Dental Society and the Westchester Shore Dental Forum. He is also an attending dentist at the residency program at Westchester Medical Center, where he shares his experience and enthusiasm while instructing newly graduated dentists.

Dr. Madalone lives in Mamaroneck with his two children, Anthony and Alanna. He can be seen around Mamaroneck playing and coaching various sports, and enjoys gathering with friends and family. He can be reached at the office or via email at

Robert H. Bruskin, DMD

Dr. Bob Bruskin, second generation dentist and predecessor of this practice, was born and raised here in Mamaroneck.  He graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1964 and completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Westchester Medical Center [formally Grasslands Hospital].  Dr. Bob joined his father, Dr. Harry, at the opening of the current building in 1965.  He has taught Dental Health at Mamaroneck High School as part of the 10th grade science program and he has lectured extensively on dental esthetics, composites, dental photography, and computers to the dental profession.  He attends continuing dental education courses regularly and was recently awarded a certificate for completion of 1000 hours of continuing dental education.

This was the first dental practice in Westchester County to have an in house computer system [1978].  He has introduced to the practice a computerized office management system, digital photography, and digital x-rays [which reduces radiation by about 80% and enhances diagnosis].

He is active in the Mamaroneck Rotary Club [34 years perfect attendance] and in the Dental Society and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.  He continues to teach at the Westchester Medical Center [Clinical Assistant Professor of Dentistry – New York Medical College and Attending Dentist in the Department of Dentistry – Section of General Dentistry].

Dr. Bob maintains two half days per week practicing dentistry with us while pursuing his high tech electronics business, Halstead Electronics Ltd. and Halstead Alarm Company [Alarm Systems, Phone Systems, and Computer Sales & Service] which he started over thirty-two years ago.

He and his wife, Muriel, also enjoy visiting with their children and grandchildren in Massachusetts and Colorado.
